Have you ever considered growing tropical fruits, such as pineapple, at home? It’s much simpler than you think. And, we can tell you how.

To plant and grow pineapples you don’t need a special seed, but rather just a pineapple you bought at the store. As soon as you get one, follow the instructions:

Cut the leaves or just pluck them out with your hand. Then, using a knife, cut off the small leaves at the bottom. Remove at least one more layer of leaves for more sprouts.

Immediately afterwards, place the pineapple top in a glass of water; you should only dip the bottom. Put the glass near a window for direct sunlight.

Wait for about 20-30 days to see sprouts. If necessary, remove another layer of leaves. When roots appear, plant the pineapple in a pot with soil.

Place the pot in a sunny place, and water it at least once a week. If you notice that the soil is dry, do it more often.

Be aware that it take long (a year or two) to pick the first fruit. By then, you will simply have a beautiful and exotic plant at home.
